After lengthy development, Villevans of Bury St Edmunds can now supply to discerning customers a new high quality GRP van body in kit form to replace the rear half of a standard Citroen 2CV Saloon. The "Babette" kit  can be fitted by any competent home mechanic to a standard 2CV saloon chassis.

This easy conversion reproduces the style and charm of the Citroen AZU 250 van manufactured in the 1960's.

These two photographs are of the conversion of a 1979 saloon fitted with the "Babette" kit and clearly show the ripples and mouldings that were such a feature of the original van. The owner's choice of  lights, indicators, door stays and windows helps to emphasise the period feel of the vehicle.
